A Prayer — First Day of Classes Lewisville ISD
Today is the first day of classes for the students of Lewisville ISD. We’ve been up early praying and preparing! On certain days you sense the potential of what “could be”, as some 53,000 plus students return.
“And so today Father God — WE PRAY, for Dr. Rogers and our wonderful school district. We pray for the leadership, and the educators, and the support staff, and the children and families represented therein. We pray for your favor and your blessing, your protection and your guidance, and the wisdom needed for all to partner well in the education of the children of our community.
We pray for all of our schools — that they would be places of real innovation and limitless opportunities. And most of all, may they be places where students love to learn — and where they learn to love — places where everyone is respected and all are deeply valued. Help us to be people who walk humbly and kind!”
And it is in your most blessed name we pray ~ AMEN.
